project overview
The Product:
Each company will have different specific goals in mind, but most are trying to achieve growth by reaching more consumers and convincing them to purchase. You need to know what your customers are searching for right now and how you can make sure these people find your website.
The Problem:
In this case study, I’m trying to solve the companies who don’t know how to increase their marketing overviews by providing services such as marketing consultants, website developing and designing, and branding.
The Goal Statement:
Our marketing web app will let users choose their best marketing service which will affect the stakeholders and companies by giving them the ability to promote the quality of selling and marketing. I will measure effectiveness by analyzing website attendance.
Responsibilities:
Creating user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, User research, conducting interviews, and user feedback. Creating user flows, wireframes, Low and High fidelity, Usability testing and studies, prototypes, and factoring accessibility in my design and mockups. Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns, and attractive user interfaces.
My Role:
UI-UX Designer responsible for the designing of the responsive website of marketing services from conception to the final product.
USER FLOW
user pain points
1. Process: About the process pain point of my users, I can say that If the payment process will go through a security lag? What is going to happen next?
2. Support: About the support pain point of my users, I can say that who is responsible for their payments? Long wait time for response of support by email or other communication tools
3. Navigation: Marketing strategies are almost complex data that most users don’t know the details of them, so I tried to design a successful flow to navigate and user-friendly UX.
4. Accessibility: Some have accessibility issues, and users often need extra help to understand specific terms used on the platform.
Competitive analysis
I had to do this as it was new terrain for me, I researched extensively on my competitors i.e. Direct and Indirect competitors so as to know what they were doing right and the avenue for improvement. I had to create accounts with competitor 1 just to name a few so as to understand how it feels navigating on their platform. It reinforced my understanding of the marketing space, the likely problems users could face, and how to build a better product and overall user experience.
Persona
paper sketch
I noted down the different screens the users would likely interact with from the onboarding screen to when they have achieved their aim which was to have a seamless journey when making their orders or booking a seat reservation. The goal was to solve users’ pain points with the least clicks possible to ensure a solid user experience.
Digital Wireframes
After I was done with my sketch and picking up what designs are key, decided to take it one step better by doing a digital wireframe and ensured I followed design best practices.
